I consider myself very fortunate to have turned bartending into my profession. Even after all these years, it often feels more like a passion than a job.
What I love most about this profession is its unique combination of discipline and fun. Behind a great cocktail bar are preparation, technique, precision and attention to detail. But as soon as the first guests arrive, there should also be plenty of room for enthusiasm, spontaneity and, above all, enjoyment.
I love sharing that passion. Sometimes by simply giving guests a great evening, sometimes during a workshop where we make cocktails together, discover new flavours and I get to share a few tricks of the trade along the way.
